Buy Solar Philippines Nueva Ecija Corp. IPO Even if Company Has No Track Record?

Solar panel and renewable energy.

Solar Philippines Nueva Ecija Corp. (SPNEC) is currently conducting its initial public offering (IPO) with shares priced at P1.00 each. The offer period will run until Dec. 7 and the stock will start trading in the PSE on Dec. 17.

Interestingly, SPNEC is a company without any operations yet. Proceeds from the IPO are planned to be used for the construction and development of a 50-megawatt solar project in Nueva Ecija. Given this, should you buy the IPO of SPNEC?
