Having a good public park nearby makes such a big difference for the neighborhood. It’s the perfect place to clear your head, get a little exercise, or just enjoy some fresh air with the family. If you’re looking for a spot in Dasmariñas to take the kids or just hang out, here are a few local favorites worth checking out:
- Kadiwa Park: Located along Congressional Road, this is a great all-around spot. It’s got a nice landscaped garden, a playground for the kids, and a jogging path if you're looking to get some steps in. There’s even a fish pond to relax by. It’s open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and it’s completely free.
- San Marino Circle Park: If you're over in Salawag, this park is a nice, quiet getaway. It features a gazebo and a basketball court, plus a relaxing view of the lake. You can visit anytime between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m., and there’s no entrance fee.
- Promenade Des Dasmariñas: You’ll find this one along Mangubat Avenue, right by the riverside near DLSU Gate 3. It’s a really well-designed urban garden with fountains, a waterfall, and plenty of space for selfies. Since it’s open from 5 a.m. to 12 midnight, it’s a popular spot for everything from early morning jogs to late-night walks or a quick bike ride.
These are just a few of the spots around the city where you can slow down and enjoy the day. Whether you're there for a workout or a family picnic, I hope you have a great time exploring them. Enjoy the parks! If you know of any other good spots to visit, just leave a comment down below—I'd love to hear your recommendations.
