If you want to find out when your Blogger site was originally created, the easiest method is usually checking the publish date of your very first blog post. In many cases, that date matches the day the blog itself was created.
However, this method is not always reliable. Some bloggers create their site first and only publish their first article days, weeks, or even months later. When that happens, the date of the earliest post will not accurately show when the blog was actually created.
Fortunately, there’s another simple way to check the approximate month and year your Blogger site was created. The steps below will help you locate that information directly from your Blogger account and blog data.
- Log in to your Blogger account.
- Open Settings.
- Under Settings, select User settings.
- Under the General section, choose Blogger as your default user profile.
- Click Edit Profile.
- Under the Privacy section, enable Share my profile. You may also fill in your profile details if needed, then click Save Profile.
- After saving, a yellow notification message should appear saying: "Your settings have been saved (View Updated Profile)".
- Click View Updated Profile.
- Your Blogger profile page should now display the month and year when your blog was originally created below your profile picture.
